Diaper Drive Diaper Drive Sponsored by the Arizona Life Coalition and the Southern Arizona Life Team, which includes over 25 pro-life groups from Phoenix and Tucson. Diapers will be collected at over a dozen locations throughout the Valley (addresses attached) and through churches in Tucson. The diapers will be donated to the Arizona Diaper Bank, the first diaper bank in the country. Diapers will be distributed to homeless shelters, child crisis centers, pregnancy counseling centers, or anywhere people are in need of diapers. For Phoenix, the Diaper Drive will conclude on Sunday, January 18, 2004 at the "United For Life 2004" pro-life rally at Steele Indian School Park starting at 2:00 p.m. In Tucson the Diaper Drive will conclude at churches throughout the city. The Diaper Drive also represents a “coming together” of pro-life groups throughout Arizona to provide a unified effort in stopping the holocaust of abortion. The vision of the Arizona Life Coalition is to witness a culture in Arizona that ends abortion and values each human life. On January 1, 2004, leaders
from over 25 pro-life groups from Tucson and the Phoenix area launched the 2nd Annual Choose Life Diaper Drive. The Diaper
Drive is being conducted in cooperation and celebration of January being Sanctity of
Human
Life month and to increase awareness of the many organizations
throughout Arizona providing life affirming hope and resources
to the women
and men of Arizona facing an unplanned pregnancy or affected
by an abortion.
